PLAID JACKET // SWEATER // LACE CULOTTES // PUMPS |
As I said in this Post your work wardrobe dosnt have to be boring. These Pants are a perfect example of how you can interject some style. These Pants are fully lined, have an elasticated waist ( in the back), a side zipper and pockets.
The Pants are fitted around the hip and thigh, so if you are pear shaped especially if you have a derrière you will want to size up. Finally I am 5' 8'' and they hit me right at the ankle so if you are shorter they may be longer on you.

For the look I wanted to play with navy and black two colors that most people usually dont put together. Since this was a business casual look I paired the look with a light weight Sweater (winter essential) and Pumps.

Tip for the winter dont be afraid to invest in outerwear (its what people see first) every woman should own neutrals and then branch into patterns and colors, its the easiest way to add interest (style) to any look and to make a statement when its cold outside.
Now is definitely the time to buy Outerwear most retailers are clearing out winter duds ( Coats, Winter Accessories) for their spring stock. You can wait a little bit longer ( for a better bargain) however the longer you wait, the worse the selection will get.

With all the winter sales going on it can be overwhelming, but if your looking to add to your Coat closet here are the pieces every woman needs. The essentials include a Biker ( Faux Leather is a good place to start), a Long Line Coat preferably in Black ( Navy and Camel also work), a mid length coat (depending on your local weather this can vary from a Parka to a Trench, to a Pea Coat, or even a Down Jacket).
These aren't essentials but they are on trend and tres chic; a Wrap Style Coat with a belt ( nips in the waist and is super flattering), a Waterfall Coat ( creates a slimming vertical line), and finally a Fur Coat (cause who dosnt love to be glamorous and warm).
