The Only Item you Need to Complete Your Look: Ditto

Use Code "CHICSTER" for a FREE month of Endless Eyewear
A great pair Sunglasses is the perfect finishing touch to any look. Personally I love Sunglasses because  it keeps you hidden when you dont want to be seen ( like right after you get of a redeye). I'm kind of an introvert so I try to always have one on hand when shooting on the street, its not my comfort zone at all 😁. So when I put on a pair of glasses I feel like I have this instant shield and the anxiety floats away.

Sunglasses have the ability to make any look more modern/fresh and more on trend. But they also have ability to have the opposite effect. Most of the time the freshest pairs of Sunglasses cost upwards of $150 and I don't know about you but if I'm paying, over $$ for something I want to know that I can wear it for a couple of seasons. However due to trends the shelf life of a pair of Sunglasses isnt very long which for most makes spending $250 for a pair unjustifiable.

That's where Ditto.com comes in, Ditto.com is an eyewear subscription rental service that allows you to rent designer sunglasses for only $24 a month and swap them out as needed. It's perfect for someone who's on a budget and does not want to splurge on a pair of Sunglasses but still appreciates quality and likes wearing modern eyewear. They have a plethora of modern styles as well as classic styles like Aviators

I've been using the service for almost three months and have no complaints at all, the setup was simple. Additionally the swap process is painless, however if you love a pair you have the option to purchase at discounted rate. Finding the right pair the first time was a breeze because, I used the "my ditto" tool a tool that allows you to take a pic of your face and try on different pairs. I also ❤️ the bookmark feature and currently have over sixty pairs bookmarked.

Do you love Raybans, Karen Walkers or Miumiu's (gorgeous pink box 😍)? You can rock as many pairs as you want for an entire MONTH on us!! Go checkout Ditto.com and use Code CHICSTER for your Month!

** Note I was provided with a complimentary membership, when you use my code I earn referral rewards ( you can too) however the thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.

So the CurvyCon happened last Saturday I can't believe it's already been  over a week. I made the trek down to New York City with a FashiononaCurve and I met up with some other DMV Curvy Bloggers. The overall experience at the conference was good. I got to meet some of my favorite bloggers, bloggers like Kristine, Ro from beauticurve, the blogger behind bigbeautifulblackgirls, of course one of the organizers Cece, Nadia A. , everythingcurvyandchic , hung out with ontheQtrain , even Gabifresh and so many other wonderful bloggers. I was specifically taken aback by how humble Ro of beauticurve was #bloggercrush lol. I also got to preview a lot of brands that I had previously seen online, brands that I have been wanting to try like Nakimuli and Rebdolls. Of course I got a swag bag . I also was able to preview Kierra Sheards clothing line and I tried on one of the pieces.

From an aesthetics point of view they did a great job on decor. Of course the highlight for me was in fact meeting all of these wonderful bloggers that I follow and admire. The only con for me was having to leave to go get lunch. There wasn't an official lunch break, we had to make the decision to leave to get lunch and in the process we missed some of the activities. Although the event had intermissions most  people used  that time to walk around and mingle, shop and take photos.
If your thinking/planning to attend next year here are a few tips bring shopping money, flats (if your not an avid heel wearer) and some snacks.

The organizers actually sent out a survey after the event, so I have a feeling next years will be bigger and better. See you in 2016 .

As far as my outfit I kept things minimal and comfortable. As I stated in my  What to Wear  to a Conference post you need to keep comfort in mind. I went for Culottes (now 50% off) cause I am a pants  kind of girl and this Pair (now 50% off) from Asos was perfect with its draping. When wearing a loose / draped piece like my culottes Its best to Keep proportions in mind and go with something fitted up top.  I went  with a fitted semi sheer Tee  and some sky high  Peeptoe Platform Pumps ( key word platform), because culotes  look best with a higher heel.  Finally to complete the look and add a little edge I choose a Vampy Purple Lip  which tied in the purple from the Shoe.

Will you be attending CurvyCon 2016 ? and If you attended we would love to hear your thoughts ?
