Four Ways to Wear White : Asos White Crochet Dress & Lace Up Nude Sandals

WHITE DRESS // BROWN SANDAL // CROSS BODY // SUNGLASSES
I remember the first time I was invited to an all white party (ala Diddys famous Hampton parties) I was so anxious and uncomfortable in my outfit. I struggled to find a look that worked for me at the mall with limited success and in the end it wasn't the best choice. I am pretty sure I spent most of the night adjusting and readjusting my outfit. can you relate ?

If you have ever been in a similar situation then today's post is for you, I am sharing tips to help you nail your next all white look.

SHOP WHITE DRESSES

A lot of women stay clear of  white because of its ability to make one appear larger and to highlight imperfections. Despite it you can still wear white if you choose to, here are three Tips to keep in mind when wearing white.

Go for a tailored fit let the garment skim over your body, noting too tight or too baggy

Go for Dress silhouettes that work with and not against your shape ( styles you feel most confident in)

Finally go for heavier / more substantial fabrics ( you shouldn't be able to see your underwear through the piece) and smoothing undergarments or shape-wear (under garment matter!!)

I picked this Asos crotchet dress ( sold out similar Here and Here) in a US 16, I was attracted to it by its fit, and flare silhouette, because I knew it would skim over my problem areas ( lower abdomen and hips). In keeping with the white theme I decided to pair the Dress with neutrals starting with nude Lace-up sandals ( also luv this One), Tortoise shell Sunnies and finally a Snakeskin bag .

  1. Your dress is so good because even though it's form fitting, the texture and design makes it appropriate to wear in any setting. And I like that you paired it with the snakeskin shoulder bag.

    You look awesome, ChiChi!
